Meals on wheels

What we do

  • We provide a year round lunchtime “meals into the home” service for vulnerable residents who have been referred to us by Social Services
  • We ensure that clients can choose from an exciting range of dishes on our extensive menus and that meals are prepared to meet their needs
  • We use professional dieticians to assist in careful planning of our meals. Our goal is to bring a smile to each client’s face with a meal that tastes good, looks pleasing and meets cultural and special health needs
  • We deliver companionship to people who might not see another person the whole day as well as helping to deliver independence to users who can now stay in their homes, rather than move into an assisted living facility
  • We aim to give users the peace of mind that they will receive a healthy balanced meal at least once a day
  • We offer a choice of frozen meals to more able users of the service
  • Our delivery staff try and make clients feel at ease and also act as a daily contact
  • All our staff are trained to act professionally and deal with information confidentially and sensitively. All staff carry photographic identification cards
  • We have developed a number of different payment methods to assist users such as: special vouchers (from local post offices), cheques or by phone using credit and debit cards.
