The business plan sets out our aims and objectives for Adult Social Care Services and how we intend to use our resources to meet these.
The business plan sets ambitious targets and shows what we hope to achieve in 2006/07.

Our six key priorities for 2006/07

• To deliver accessible, responsive, timely, and appropriate adult care services for a diverse community
• To promote independence and choice for vulnerable adults
• To ensure that care and support services are experienced by service users as 'joined up' across organisational boundaries
• To promote effective working between Adult Social Care and Children's Services
• To support vulnerable adults in making a positive contribution to their community
• To improve the links between targeted services for vulnerable adults and universal public and commercial services
