Young people's community plan

The Young People’s Community Plan is intended to be an overarching framework which will guide the development of services across the public and voluntary sectors. It sets out what young people have told us and what we intend to do differently as a result.

In short, it aims to put young people at the heart of everything we do.

The Tower Hamlets Partnership hopes that it will enable young people to better understand the public and voluntary sectors, what they can expect, and how they can influence decisions and services which affect them.

By listening to young people – and by publishing this plan and a short summary – we want them to realise that their views are important and that we value the contribution they make to life in the borough, now and for the future.

Amp - youth service web site

The Tower Hamlets Youth Service has established a website aimed directly at young people. This site provides young people in Tower Hamlets with a starting point to get involved or simply gain up-to-date information on a range of topics including health, money, sport, entertainment and tips on how to get a job.

This website contains links to activities and local news of specific interest to young people. In addition a directory of services has been compiled based on the eight Local Area Partnerships (LAPs).
