Tower Hamlets area profile

The Audit Commission’s Area Profiles initiative provides a wide-ranging picture of the quality of life and public services in every local authority in England. This is drawn from a variety of data, information and official assessments.

This section provides two reports that the performance & Information team produced to feed into the initiative during 2005/06.

Report on the views of residents and service users

This report draws together information from over 40 sources that convey the views of local residents and service users regarding the quality of life and services in Tower Hamlets.

An introductory section looks at areas where there is potentially a lack of consultative activity, and the appendix provides a directory of consultation and involvement exercises that fed into the report.

Black and minority ethnic outcomes report

This report brings together local information about quality of life as experienced by different ethnic groups. It brings together available data that includes BME outcomes and uses this to draw a detailed picture about life locally.
