Mile End Climbing Wall

Map of the Mile End climbing wall

Based in the Ecology Park, Mile End Climbing Wall is probably the most established dedicated climbing wall in the country; many of Britain's top climbers and mountaineers have trained here. It is housed inside an old pipe engineering works, which is located within Mile End Park, a five minute walk from Mile End Tube Station.

The Wall opened to the public in the late Eighties and has grown to provide approximately 11,000 sq. ft. (1200 sq. m.) of climbing surface.

The relaxed and informal social atmosphere created by the staff, regular customers and clubs; in addition to the services available make it a great place for climbing in London.
