Estates that voted for transfer to RSLs through Housing Choice

The official name is registered social landlord (RSL), although they are often called housing associations. They are not-for-profit organisations. That means that all the money that comes in – from your rents for example – must be spent on managing, maintaining and improving your estates and paying off loans. There are no shareholders to pay and the board members who run the organisation usually give their time for free.
