Setting up a TRA

If there isn't already a TRA in your area, the consultation and participation team can offer advice and support to help you set one up.

We can:

• meet new groups to offer our advice;
• support you in selecting a management committee;
• give you advice about the roles of the key officers - such as chair, secretary and treasurer;
• offer advice on equal opportunities policies and your constitution;
• help with creating and translating your initial publicity;
• advise on financial support through the small grants scheme;
• promote access to training and development.
