East London sub region

East London sits at the heart of new housing and development opportunities .Tower Hamlets is helping to make the most of these opportunities as part of The East London Sub Region .

The East London Sub Region is made up of the eight authorities of Waltham Forest , Redbridge, Newham, Hackney, Barking & Dagenham, the Corporation of London, Havering and Tower Hamlets.

Central Government has set ambitious targets for increasing the supply of affordable housing in London , and this document sets out the key priorities and projects required in the Sub Region.
