Concierge and security services

The council provides concierge and security services on our estates to make residents feel safe from acts of crime and anti-social behaviour in and around their home, as well as to improve protection of property from vandalism.

Concierge duties vary in nature from estate to estate but generally include:

• operation of a reception service and door entry security system to prevent unauthorised visitors from entering the building
• maintaining a record of all visitors to the building
• operation and monitoring of CCTV equipment and CCTV videotape storage
• reporting of door entry lift defects.
