The council may refuse permission if the improvements:
- cause the council expense
- make the property less safe
- make it difficult to let the property in the future, or
- give rise to complaints from other residents.
You may need to check with the council’s planning department before you submit this form, as sometimes it may be necessary to obtain planning permission before certain improvements can be made.
Please enter your details onto the form online and once completed, the form can be submitted to your local housing office. We will write to you within 15 working days and tell you our decision.
If you have documents supporting your application, print the form off, sign and date the form, and submit it with your supporting documentation to your local housing office.
