Communications

An informed and engaged workforce is the key to an organisation’s success, so at Tower Hamlets Council we make sure that all staff are kept up to date.

As well as your team meetings, in which you will hear news from across the council as part of the Manager’s Briefing, you can also visit the staff intranet for information on all departments, a selection of news articles and an electronic staff directory.

Monthly staff magazine Pulling Together contains a round-up of important corporate news and the achievements and successes of the council and staff.

From time to time global emails will be sent to all staff to inform you of imminent events or important information.

You will also receive regular emails offering staff further corporate training to help you progress and develop within the council.

But it’s not a one-way street, it’s just as important to us that you keep us informed.  So if you have any ideas, queries or suggestions feel free to raise them at your team meetings or informally with your manager.

Or if you and your team have achieved something to shout about contact the internal communications officer who can publish your news and keep other staff informed of the good work we do at Tower Hamlets.
