Expenses

Employees can claim for additional expenses in the course of their work such as travel, meals, and other office expenses.

You can download a petty cash form from the intranet in the payroll section. You will need to get it signed by your manager. You will need to put on the cost code and attach your receipts. This needs to be given to Payroll before the 6th of each month so that you can receive it on your salary of that month.

Hot desking

Hot-desking is where a desk, computer and other office facility can be used by any staff member who needs it. Instead of having your own desk space you can use any available desk within your team's area. If there are no desks available you can use nearby team areas or a touch down area. You can use a desk for a whole day or just a few hours. This saves space as you use workstations when you need them. Each desk has standard office equipment, like PCs or laptop docking stations and telephones.

You will have access to personal storage space, normally a locker, to store your personal belongings and documents in. At the end of each day/shift you must clear your workstation. You are responsible for the security of your personal belongings and should not bring expensive items to work.
