The education of children & young people in public care team
This team is part of Access and Inclusion and is a partnership between Education and Social Services to monitor and raise the achievements of children in public care.
The team offers advice and training to ‘corporate parents’ so they are better able to support children in public care. ‘Corporate parents’ are the many different people who have a responsibility for supporting these children; social workers, foster carers, residential care workers, early years staff, teachers, school governors, council members and officers of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
