How many items can be borrowed and for how long?

If you are a Tower Hamlets libraries member you can borrow up to 12 items for three weeks.

Renewing items

To renew items, you can:

• Bring the items, with your library card, to any of the Idea Stores or Tower Hamlets libraries, or
• Phone any libraries or Idea Stores during opening hours. You can see contact details and opening hours for each library here
• Renew online here using our online catalogue.
• Books in demand may be renewed for a limited period only.

Library regulations

Your library card is issued subject to Tower Hamlets library regulations. In signing your library card you are consenting to comply with these. A copy of the bylaws is available at each library and Idea Store.

All information held on our computer is covered by the Data Protection Act and will not be given to any unauthorised person or organisation.
