What's new...Back capturing of Tower Hamlets planning statutory registerTower Hamlets statutory planning register is now being digitised. This may result in its limited availability. The scanning of the register is expected to be carried out over an 11-12 week period from 9 April 2008. Scanning will be done in weekly batches. Personal search
A personal search is an inspection of Local Land Charges Register. It can be carried out by anyone upon payment of a fee. Please note that a Personal Search does not provide all the information given on a full (LLC 1 and Con 29) search.
The Local Land Charges Register is available to persons wishing to carry out a Personal Search between 9.00 am to 12.00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday mornings by booking 24 hours in advance.
Register only
The cost of a personal search is £11 and searchers can look up the Planning Register and request information of council maintained roads from the highways department.
Full Search
The cost of a full search is currently £155 and the searcher is entitled to replies from all the departments based on the CON 29.
It is the responsibility of the person carrying out the personal search to identify the land/property and make any note of information held on the register.
The council does not have an obligation to answer any supplementary or additional enquiries when a person is making a personal search
