Living safely

The Living Safely community plan action group focuses on the following Community Plan priorities:

Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour

 

  • Develop more effective support for young people
  • Reduce street crime, burglary
  • Improve support to tackle drugs and alcohol misuse
  • Make communities safer
  • Improve access to protection for vulnerable people

Improving the environment

  • Improve road safety
  • Reduce the number of road casualties
  • Remove the number of road casualties
  • Remove abandoned cars more quickly
  • Increase the standard of street cleanliness
  • Improve personal safely in parks and open spaces
  • Target rogue businesses that damage the environment
  • Reduce dog fouling in public spaces
