The Tower Hamlets Partnership

Tower Hamlets Partnership wants you

Tower Hamlets Partnership needs to recruit more than 100 volunteer residents to become part of the revitalised Local Area Partnership (LAP) steering groups. The groups are set to make real decisions that influence and make sure public services are better delivered to improve lives of local people.

Residents successfully selected as members of the steering groups will be responsible for implementing changes and ensuring ambitious targets are set and achieved to improve their area. The steering groups will be working in partnership with the council, councillors, police, health service, Job Centre Plus and community groups; making sure services join-up their delivery to benefit everyone in their community.

If you'd like to get involved but don't like we're offering one to one advice to residents wishing to apply to become a steering group member at drop in sessions between 12.30pm -3.00pm at the following locations:

Tuesday 2 September, Watney Market Library

Wednesday 3 September, Whitechapel Idea Store

Thursday 4 September, Cubitt Town Library

Saturday 6 September, St. Barnabas Fete, Mile End Park

Can't make it to one of the sessions and still want to apply , please contact Hasna Begum tel. 020 7364 4572 at Tower Hamlets Partnership for an application pack. or e-mail Hasnaa.Begum@towerhamlets.gov.uk.
