Community plan

The community plan is a plan for the future of Tower Hamlets.

It describes the kind of place that the people who live and work here want it to be, and thousands of people contributed to developing its vision.

The community plan belongs to the community. Everyone has a part to play in making sure that the real improvements in the quality of life that local people deserve are achieved.

The first community plan for Tower Hamlets was launched in May 2001. It set out both a vision for the future of Tower Hamlets to 2010 and a list of priorities to be tackled in the first year.

The community plan 2003-2004 reports on that progress, identifying what was has been achieved. It details the priorities and specific targets on which we will be concentrating for the year to April 2004.

You can download the plan through the links on this page.
