Emission based charging

From 1 June 2008, the price of all on-street parking permits (except motorcycle and market trader permits) depend on either your vehicle's carbon dioxide emissions (CO2 g/km), or engine size (cc) if your CO2 emission is not logged on your Registration Certificate (V5C) by DVLA. A pool permit will be charged at the highest price band rate.
