Cultural Strategy
The rich variety of people, traditions, heritage, work and leisure activities that make up Tower Hamlets is celebrated in a cultural strategy document produced by the Council.
The 68-page document has been compiled with the help of local residents.
The strategy includes sports, libraries, museums, archaeology, architecture, crafts, children's play areas, parks, tourism, recreation, entertainment, design, fashion, food, visiting attractions and other informal leisure pursuits.
It also looks at areas where the council can improve its services so that everybody is included.
The cultural strategy will play an important part in future bids for government funding, as well as providing guidance for new and existing partners.
A 12 page summary of the strategy is available in libraries or at the Bow Idea Store.
