Marriages and civil partnerships
Tower Hamlets Council can help arrange marriage ceremonies,
renewal of wedding vows and civil partnerships; advising on legal
requirements, issuing certificates and help with performing
historical searches.
The Tower Hamlets register office is responsible for recording
and publicising intended marriages between couples who live in the
borough. It is also responsible for performing and registering all
civil marriages taking place in the borough and for registering
marriages in churches other than the Church of England.
