Births
If there is a birth in your family
in the borough of Tower Hamlets, you must submit the information to
Tower Hamlets Register Office. The Register Office also handles
birth certificate amendments, baby naming ceremonies and historical
searches.
Marriages and civil partnerships
Tower Hamlets Council can help arrange marriages and civil partner ships, renewal of
wedding vows; advising on legal requirements, issuing certificates
and help with performing historical searches.
Deaths, funerals and cremations
It is a time of great sadness and grieving when someone you know
passes away. It is also a time when there are a number of steps
that need to be taken. Tower Hamlets Council offers support in
dealing with the practical and emotional issues of death and bereavement.
