Mowlem Children's Centre

Welcome to tower hamlets children centresMowlem Children’s Centre aims to give your child the best start in life. If you are expecting a baby or you are a parent or carer with a child under five, we can provide family support, early education, child and family health services, childcare advice, employment, volunteering and training support.

The centre has a telephone helpline and drop-in service from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

Activity timetable

Mowlem Children’s Centre has a range of activities for children under five. Unless stated the activities will run weekly between 3 January and 31 March 2017. Some sessions will be held at other locations within the borough.

If you would like the opportunity to introduce your child to books and receive play and learning support at home then contact the children’s centre to book a course of four sessions arranged at mutually agreeable times.

Family Information Service

Tower Hamlets Family Information Service (FIS) provides free, impartial information and advice on childcare as well as general information on a wide range of services for children, young people, parents and families.

The service runs a telephone helpline and drop-in service from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Contact the FIS on 020 7364 6495 or by email at fis@towerhamlets.gov.uk
