Tower Hamlets Council is responsible for
health and safety enforcement in businesses, investigating food
poisoning outbreaks, pest control, noise
pollution and many more environmental health services to
residents and businesses in the borough.

Tower Hamlets Council carries out regular checks on all food
premises to ensure the public is protected and that high standards
are maintained.

Flytipping
The council has responsibility for acting on reports of
flytipping, both in removing the waste and locating and prosecuting
offenders. If the waste is hazardous the council has a responsible
for ensuring public safety until such time as the waste can be
removed.
