Home care
Tower Hamlets Council offers advice, counselling and support for
carers of adults and children with special needs. Home care can be
provided to residents who require help with personal care, domestic
chores or meals on wheels. Community transport is also available
for people with no mobility.
The council offers carers and their families support,
information and advice. It also offers support to young people who
have caring responsibilities for a relative with a long-term
illness or disability.
Home care
Care in your own home is offered to people who require
assistance with personal care such as washing or dressing,
practical daily tasks such as help with domestic chores like
cooking and cleaning, or in some instances, help in managing
finances.
Meals on wheels
The mobile meals service can deliver meals to older or
vulnerable people in their own homes on a short or long term basis,
according to need.
