Lettings and the housing list
Tower Hamlets is an area where demand is greater than the supply
of affordable housing. Our lettings policy is designed to target
the available supply of homes to the people in most need.
Tower Hamlets Homes (THH)manages homes and estates owned by
Tower Hamlets council. They are responsible for the day-to-day
running of the estates - from collecting rent and service
charges and carrying out repairs, to improving homes
and estates.
The council is still the landlord and the owner of the homes.
Tenants are still council tenants and leaseholders are still
council leaseholders, with the same rights and
responsibilities.
