New parking charges 6 April

Please note that new fees and charges for parking products and services will come into force on Thursday 6 April 2017.

The annual review looked at every product and service that we provide in order to ensure that the council's costs were covered for each individual product, while balancing the levels of parking demand in the borough with affordability for customers. This review was completed in December 2016 and the fees and charges were submitted through the council's Forward Plan, with final approval being given in January 2017.

The new fees will come in to force on Thursday 6 April 2017, however the permit surcharges will not be implemented until April 2018. Download new parking charges 6 April 2017 for details. This has also been advertised in the East London Advertiser – Legal and Public Notices on 16 March 2017.
