Adopt a garden
Clean and Green - garden volunteer
Blooming marvellous!
Do you know of a small space you would like to transform with
flowers/shrubs?
Is the space in a public
place?
Are you happy to maintain
and re-plant the area?
If the answer is yes to the
above we would like to hear from you!
Re-planting and regular
maintenance of a neglected area is a positive step towards making
your neighbourhood more attractive, tackling climate
change, creating habitat for wildlife and reducing
anti-social behaviour. It will be an opportunity to make new
friends and create an atmosphere of ownership within the
community.
We will provide the initial
plants to get you started, offer advice on how to care for them and
provide a starter pack of tools.
All we ask for is a
commitment to look after the area for a minimum of 12 months.
This is a great opportunity
for community groups and residents to come together, have fun and
take responsibility for a green space.
