Ensure you complete the application fully before returning it.
If there are any gaps on the form and you are invited to interview
you may be questioned on this.
If you do not understand anything on the form or need help in
completing the form in an alternative format, for example; large
print, please contact the recruitment team on recruitment@towerhamlets.gov.uk
We advise you register and log in to save your
application If you’d rather not register, you may still apply, but
your application will not be saved. Please note that you will be
timed out after 90 minutes.
Late applications
Application forms received after the closing date will not be
considered.
Decisions on short-listing
If you are not called for interview within three weeks of the
closing date you should assume that you have not been
short-listed.
Use of clearance, reference and tests
The council does sometimes incorporate tests and/or practical
exercises in the selection process. If you are short-listed for a
post, you will be informed if any form of assessment is to take
place.
Please note all offers of appointment are subject to the
following:
- medical clearance
- two references that are satisfactory to the council
- sight of professional qualifications (if this is a requirement
of the post)
- Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check if relevant (you will be
advised of this is applicable to you)
- any other requirements which are applicable to the post for
which you will be notified during the selection process, for
example a driving test.
