
Candidates
Here at Skillsmatch we welcome job-seekers of all ages,
abilities and job type looked for. Because of our various funding
requirements we will need you to be:
- Tower Hamlets Residents
- eligible to work and have recourse to public funds*
- not on a student or dependency visa
- a holder of a valid UK national insurance number
As long as this relates to you, we will be able to support you
in all stages of your job search. Many of the positions handled by
Skillsmatch are permanent positions, with the bulk being full-time.
We also handle a range of temporary and part-time positions.
To register with the service, you should first visit our office at Canary Wharf, between the
following hours
Opening hours
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (except between
30th and 5th December during our office move)
For your first appointment you should bring with you
all of the following:
- a valid passport or birth certificate*
- proof of address (bank statement, utility bill, council tax
bill - must be no older than three months)
- proof of your national insurance number (e.g. NI card, P45,
state benefit book if applicable)
- an up-to-date CV detailing your work experience and education
to date
*If your passport is from outside the EU you
will need proof of recourse to state benefits.
