Food for Health awards
Tower Hamlets Council and NHS Tower Hamlets
have come together to set-up the Food for Health awards.
The Food for Health Awards is part of the
Tower Hamlets Healthy Borough
Programme. It rewards food businesses which offer healthy
options on their menu and meet the minimum acceptable food hygiene
standards. There are three categories to the Food for Health
awards: gold, silver and bronze.
Do you want to achieve a Food for Health award for your
business?
The award is open to all food businesses in
Tower Hamlets where food is served or sold including restaurants,
cafes, hotels, pubs, sandwich shops, work canteens, homecaterers,
and takeaways.
If your business reached the minimum acceptable food hygiene
standards on your last hygiene inspection you’ll automatically
become eligible to apply for the award.
