How to find Mile End Park

Mile End Park is located in the heart of the East End of London,
England.
Mile End Park has good transport links so getting to Mile End
Park is easy.
Bicycle
There is a dedicated cycle route through Mile End Park which
connects the park with cycle network across London. We encourage
you to use your cycle to get to the park and whilst in the park.
However we also ask that cyclists respect other park users and
dismount on pedestrian paths.
Remember to lock your bike and remove any lights and accessories
when leaving it unattended.
Racks for locking up cycles are located at :
Mile End Road, near to Venus in the Park Mile End Road, on the
traffic island opposite Meads estate agents. Arts park, near the
building entrance, Ecology Park, near the building entrance, Mile
End Stadium, near to the entrance.

Buses passing close to Mile End Park are:
25, 277, D6, D7 and N25
Car
The roads of London are often congested and there is no car
parking available near the park. The local streets operate a
resident's parking permit system and are regularly patrolled by
traffic wardens. Limited parking is available at Bow Wharf.
In the spirit of the environmental ethos of the park we
recommend that you leave your car at home.
Train
The nearest over ground train station is Bethnal Green. Bethnal
Green Station is about 10 minutes walk from the Green Bridge.
Tube
The nearest underground / tube, station is Mile End. This
station is in Zone 2 and is on the Hammersmith and City Line, the
District Line and the Central Line.
Access for people with disabilities
The park has been designed to allow good access for people with
disabilities.
All buildings and toilets are wheelchair accessible. There is
also a tap rail along the main park paths.
There is no specially designated parking available in the
area.
Step-free maps have been produced to assist your journey from
Mile End Underground Station to the Children's Play Park and Art
Pavilion.
Transport in the park
Once at Mile End Park it is possible to safely explore the park
using dedicated pedestrian or cycle paths. The park is about just
over 2.5 mile from end to end.
Cycles, wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, skates, snake boards,
etc are all welcome to be used in the park but please be
considerate of other park users and pedestrian only areas.
The park is not accessible for cars and motorbikes except by
emergency or designated park vehicles.
