Park rangers

Mile End Park currently has four full time park rangers, Pete, Anthony, Sean and Rayne. The rangers can be identified by their bright yellow T-shirts and fleeces.

The rangers act as the first point of within the park and deal with all aspects of the park from managing park events to leading family orientated mini events. The rangers also take a lead at our regular events such as the Mile End Park Summer Fair and our Halloween extravaganza, the Park After Dark.

In the holidays the rangers are at the fore of organised play activity in the Children Play Park and offer pond dipping on some weekends during the spring and summer months.

Rangers also work with corporate and community volunteers on a range of environmental challenges from hedge planting to habitat creation.
