The Play Arena

At the junction of the Hertford Union Canal and the Regents Canal (pdf 28kb) the Play Arena is an open area with two small raised sections sown with wild flowers located next to a major attraction in East London – the comedy venue Jongleurs at Bow Wharf . Bow Wharf is a canal side community of restaurants, bars, a fitness club and specialist retailers offering music and food.

The play arena is used for festivals and events and benefits from a small playground in the park which keeps children occupied too. A walk along the canal also links Mile End Park with the Crown Organic - a pub serving organic food and Victoria Park, an historic park and pleasure ground featuring extensive gardens play, and sports facilities.
