The South Park
The South Park is now more accessible in all directions to
waterways and pedestrian routes and benefits from the park’s good
central location in the borough and its excellent public transport
links.
Enhanced by the improved park setting and the new Green Bridge
and Terraced Garden, this part of the park will continue to host
circuses, funfairs and outdoor festivals. However, its most
important use is that of an informal space for football, sun
bathing and reading.
