Wildlife Workshop: Wildfood Walk
A walk and talk to learn about and forage for seasonal wild food. See, taste, smell, collect and eat!

Make Your Mark on Vicky Park
Join the community park rangers to help carry out some practical conservation in the park.  Lunch vouchers for the Pavilion Cafe will be provided.  Meet at the Outdoor Classroom, near St Agnes Gate

Bring your friends and family along to discover what feather friends are living in 'Vicky' Park.  Meet at the V&A building

Wildlife Workshop: Summer Walk
Join us for a gentle meander around Victoria Park to look at the variety of trees present. We will concentrate on features which enable identification during the summer months, but will also consider  human uses, importance for wildlife and cultural associations. Bowls Taster Session
Come along, try your hand at a game of bowls and potentially become a member of the Victoria Park Bowls Club.  Live band and bar throughout the event.  Coaching available throughout the day.  Meet at the Bowling Green.

Wildlife Workshop: Meadow Safari Children and parents only
Come along for an afternoon in the magnificent meadows discovering all kinds of creepy crawlies and beautiful wild flowers. There'll be butterflies and dragonflies too!  Please contact Joelle.Copeland@towerhamlets.gov.uk to book your place.

Join us to make an outfit out of recycled materials in the morning or turn up with your costume for the catwalk in the afternoon!  Meet at the Hub Building

Wildlife Workshop: Butterfly Walk
Learn about the lifecycles of butterflies, what they eat, where they can be found and how to identify different species. We’ll have a go at catching some butterflies using nets, and then identifying them in hand. Please contact Joelle.Copeland@towerhamlets.gov.uk to book your place.

Vicky’s Veggie Growing Project

People are welcome to join the group for an opportunity to be involved in learning about and growing vegetables, fruits and flowers right in the middle of Victoria Park!

The group have been given their very own area of the park and from now on are exercising their green fingers to spruce up the area as they see fit and turn it into a new green space, growing flowers, herbs, vegetables and whatever takes their fancy.

The group meet on Sunday and Thursday afternoons at the Whitening Yard (adjacent to the model boating lake).

Victoria Park is home to a few larger festivals and events such as Field Day and Lovebox organised by the Tower Hamlets events team. We would like to assure you that we’ll be working hard to keep noise and disruption to local residents to a minimum.
