Growing Projects in Victoria Park

Vicky's Veg Group meets on Sunday and Thursday afternoons at the Whitening Yard (adjacent to the model boating lake).

The Kitchen Garden meets on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons at the Outdoor Classroom with varying times depending on the season.

People are welcome to join either group for an opportunity to be involved in learning about and growing vegetables, fruits and flowers right in the middle of Victoria Park!

Both group have been given their very own area of the park and from now on are exercising their green fingers to spruce up the area as they see fit and turn it into a new green space, growing flowers, herbs, vegetables and whatever takes their fancy.

For more information on Vicky's Veg Group call 020 7364 4172 or email
For more information on the Kitchen Garden, please contact Candida Cook -

Event GroupFestivals and commercial events

Victoria Park is home to a few larger festivals and events such as Field Day and Lovebox organised by the Tower Hamlets events team. We would like to assure you that we’ll be working hard to keep noise and disruption to local residents to a minimum.

If you require more information about festivals, please contact the events team at Or for an overview of events and festivals in the park and some FAQs visit
