London Live Olympics
Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets, will be transformed
next summer to offer thousands of residents the chance to join in
the excitement of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games –
for free.
The park will be joined by two other open-air locations in the
capital – Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square – to create London Live.
The 17-day sporting extravaganza in Victoria Park will boost local
business, while providing residents with access to 4,000 tickets,
which have been secured by the borough for each day of
activity..
Full details will be announced shortly and people can register
their interest on the official website at http://www.londonlive.uk.com/.
