Resident permit lost or stolen
If your permit is lost or stolen (excluding a
multi-vehicle permit) and you require a replacement for the same
vehicle you must provide one proof of vehicle from section 8 of the
application form, and visit a One Stop shop or the Cashier’s office
to request a duplicate. There is a £5 administration charge.
If you lose a multi-vehicle permit you will
have to make a new application.

Non- resident permit lost or stolen (excluding a market
trader’s permit)
If your permit is lost or stolen (excluding a
multi-vehicle permit) and you require a replacement for the same
vehicle you should visit a One Stop shop or the Cashier’s office to
request a duplicate. There is a £5 administration charge.
If you lose a multi-vehicle permit you will
have to make a new application.
Market trader’s permit lost or stolen
If your permit is lost or stolen and you
require a replacement for the same vehicle you should visit a One
Stop shop or the Cashier’s office to request a duplicate. There is
a £5 administration charge.
Vehicle stolen
If your vehicle is stolen you must provide a
crime reference number for a refund to be calculated. No refund
will be given where the value is less than £10. If you have a new
vehicle you will have to make a new application.
Vehicle scrapped
If your vehicle has been scrapped you should
return your permit for a refund to be calculated. No refund will be
given where the value is less than £10. If you have a new vehicle
you will have to make a new application.
If you are unable to return your permit you
must provide a receipt from the scrap yard or letter from the
insurance company to confirm that your vehicle has been written-off
for a refund to be calculated. No refund will be given where the
value is less than £10
