Whether or not you think you require building control approval,
you should contact the building control service for pre-application
advice.
This is important because, even if it appears that you do not
require approval for some of the work you wish to undertake, the
end result of doing that work may require approval.
Therefore, you are encouraged, for your own protection, to seek
free professional technical advice before commencing any building
works.
