Cycling is an efficient, cheap, healthy, non-polluting mode of
transport. Tower Hamlets Council wishes to encourage cycling to
help improve mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and improve

parking or residential cycle parking or find out about existing

Although the 2014-15 cycle parking programme is already
committed, we are considering sites for the next year's
programme. For details of individual cycle lockers on
residential estates that can be rented out visit the
Transport for London (TfL) are running a consultation on a
proposed upgrade of Cycle Superhighway 2 in the borough from
Bow to Aldgate until November
2, 2014. Visit the Cycle
Superhighway 2 consultation to get involved. Another
TfL consultation runs until November
9, 2014 on the proposed east-west segregated cycle route
across London from Tower Hill to Aldgate. See TfL's website to
