Council tax property bands & charges
Each home or dwelling has been allocated to one of eight bands
according to its open market capital value at 1 April 1991.
A department of HM Revenue and Customs the Valuation
Office Agency determined the band of your home. They also
provide a facility for you to find out
the council tax band for your property.
Your council tax bill shows you which band applies to your home.
The table shows the valuation band ranges and the amounts
payable before any discount, exemption or council tax benefit is
deducted:
