The Development Control service processes
and determines planning applications. It also deals with
breaches of planning control, works to listed buildings and
buildings in conservation areas and tree preservation.
Strategic Planning service is responsible for drafting planning
policy for the borough and providing policy advice on planning
Building Control service oversees building work to ensure
compliance with building regulations and safety standards.
