School sport
The structure of school sport in the UK
School sport is coordinated by The
Youth Sport Trust and managed by School Sport Partnerships
(SSPs) who are groups of schools working together to develop PE and
sport opportunities for all young people.
A typical partnership consists of:
- A partnership development manager (PDM);
- Up to eight school sport co-coordinators (SSCos);
- 45 primary and special school link teachers (PLTs).
