There are several sports clubs providing sporting
facilities and opportunities in the borough who
are affiliated to Tower Hamlets Sports Council.

What is the Get Active London Sports and Physical Activity
Directory?
The online directory, which has been developed in
partnership with PRO-ACTIVE East London gives local people easy
access to sports information. Residents are able to find out where
to get active in the borough, while sports clubs can benefit from
new members and receive news on funding and developments.
The Sports and Physical Activity Team are
working in close partnership with the Primary Care Trust, the
School Sports Partnership, the Tower Hamlets 2012 Team, Youth
Service and the Family Information Service to ensure substantial
coverage across the borough. Any sport or physical activity
orientated information can be posted onto the site including
- Leisure Centre details and programmes
- Sports Club information
- Activity Centre and or Youth Club sessions
- Holiday Coaching programmes
- One off events
All posts are free and will be verified by a
council officer before going live.
