Tower Hamlets Telecare Service
Tower Hamlets Telecare Service provides a
personal emergency alarm response service 24 hours a day, 365 days
a year. The Telecare service helps provide safety, security
and wellbeing by enabling people to live independently in their own
homes.
Service users are provided with an alarm unit
which is connected to their phone line and a power socket.
The alarm unit comes with a pendant that can be worn around the
neck, on the wrist or as a brooch.
Service users can also be assessed for
additional devices such as a smoke detector, flood detector, or
wandering monitor for the front door.
Our friendly staff are available 24hrs a day,
7 days a week and are trained to respond quickly and appropriately
to calls for help. In an emergency they will remain in contact with
the client until they are satisfied that the client is safe and
well, or may send one of the Telecare team to provide
assistance.
