Whitechapel Sports Centre

Whitechapel is an award-winning multi-purpose leisure centre. Training facilities available to athletes at Whitechapel include a large, four-court sports hall, three separate state-of-the-art gymnasiums, a fitness studio and two saunas.

East London Royals, a basketball team competing in the National Junior Basketball League, are based at Whitechapel Sports Centre, and the quality of the centre’s facilities make it well-equipped for elite athletes in training.

The wide variety and high-quality sporting opportunities at the centre have also been instrumental in increasing participation in sport among local people, for whom it is an important community facility. Whitechapel Sports Centre is fully accessible for athletes with disabilities.
