The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (the Council) resolved to
make the London Borough of Tower Hamlets 47 Brick Lane E1, 805 Commercial Road E14 and
122 Bethnal Green Road E2 Compulsory Purchase Order
2009, to compulsorily purchase the above mentioned land for the
purpose of providing housing accommodation.
Crossways Estate Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO)
Following confirmation of the Order, the
General Vesting Declaration was made on 23 of December 2009 by the
London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (the
Council) resolved to make the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
Crossways Estate (Hackworth Point and Mallard Point) Compulsory
Purchase Order 2009, to compulsorily acquire land at Hackworth
Point and Mallard Point, London
E3.
The Council resolved to make the Order to
assist the Council’s registered social landlord partner Swan
Housing Association Limited (Swan) to fulfil their regeneration
commitments on Crossways Estate on which Hackworth Point and
Mallard Point are situated.

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets made the attached Order for
the purpose of acquiring all the relevant third party interests in
the Order land to facilitate the Scheme.

Purchase Order (CPO)
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (the
Council) resolved to make the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
British Street Estate (8 and 10 Merchant Street) Compulsory
Purchase Order 2009, to compulsorily acquire land at 8 and 10
Merchant Street.
The Council resolved to make the Order to
assist the Council’s registered social landlord partner East End
Homes Limited to fulfil their regeneration commitments
on British Street Estate on
which 8 and 10 Merchant Street are situated.
On 1 June 2009 an order entitled the London
Borough of Tower Hamlets British Street Estate ( 8 and 10 Merchant
Street) Compulsory Purchase Order 2009 was confirmed by the
Authority under the powers conferred on them by section 14A of the
Acquisition of Land Act 1981 authorising the Authority to acquire
the land specified in the schedule below.
