Our vision

What this means is the council is relentlessly serving all
its citizens, and being nationally recognised as one of the best
local authorities in the country.
Tower Hamlets is an ambitious council, obsessed with
accelerating the improvement of its services. We have been rated as
a 4 star council by the comprehensive performance assessment (CPA).

We are determined to continue to develop excellent services that
are responsive to local needs. We are building a council with the
capacity and skills to translate the community's vision into
action. We believe that by listening harder to local people,
working in active partnership and by being prepared to do things
differently, we can improve faster and better meet the challenges
ahead.
