Local people need to know how their money is being spent, which is why Tower Hamlets Council publishes details of all its payments over £500 in value on its website.
The data is published in a format recommended by the Local Public Data Panel, which is an independent panel of experts set up by the Government.
It is published under a licence that allows wide reuse. Details of the licence may be found here.
The data is published month by month throughout the year. The data for each month will be published by the end of the following month.
This information is supplied as CSV files so that they can be easily read in a variety of applications.
