Citizenship ceremonies
People who obtain British citizenship can
choose to have their certificate presented in either a group or
individual ceremony.
Group ceremonies are usually held in the
Vestry Hall. However if you wish to have a personalised ceremony,
inviting family and friends to share in your memorable occasion,
either at the Vestry Hall or at any of our approved venues, we
would be more then happy to make the necessary arrangements for
you. For further enquires please contact the Register Office and we
will be glad to help.

Fees
A fee is not required for a group citizenship
ceremony nor are fees necessary for a child obtaining their
citizenship. However for individual citizenship ceremonies
the fee is:
If the ceremony is in the vestry, at the Tower Hamlets
Register Office:
- Monday – Thursday:
£120
- Friday:
£140.00
- Saturday (AM):
£188.00
- Saturday (PM):
£285.00
- Sunday (AM only):
£465.00
If the ceremony is at approved
premises:
- Monday to Friday £295.00
- Saturday £325.00
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £395.00
