Improvement and repairs loans
The council’s private housing improvement team
(PHIT) offers a range of services to assist owner-occupiers,
private sector tenants and landlords to improve and adapt their
properties.
We offer a range of grants, loans and advice
via the Tower Hamlets Home Improvement Agency which was set up by
Tower Hamlets council to help elderly, disabled or low-income
homeowners and private tenants to apply for grants and loans.
This financial assistance is for improving or
repairing dwellings, or to carry out adaptations to enable you to
remain safe and independent in your own home.
